Capshot: San Diego Padres New Era x Levi’s 59Fifty

The hottest trend hitting the hat world recently is the collaboration route. While somewhat hit-or-miss, Lids has been pumping out new caps with touches of design from outside manufacturers. This cap is an example of a hit as you’ll see below a really seamless collaborative effort from New Era and iconic jean manufacturer Levi’s.

The third of the New Era x Levi’s series, this cap is the first fitted version after two adjustable versions were produced, one in light and the other in a dark denim. This cap is made of the same soft denim-weave material and is an amalgamation of the two denims used in the adjustable caps. I say denim-weave material because the cap doesn’t feel as thick or heavy as your favorite pair of jeans, which is probably a good thing. The contrast of light and dark denim on this cap makes for a pleasing and wearable aesthetic.

Cap Availability Status: Common

You should still be able to find this particular cap on Lids. I recommend grabbing it sooner rather than later if you really dig it; this cap is one of the better collaboration caps I’ve seen this year.
